Something About Lola

There was Brintz, Een and Rossy who get excited to make a band to covering New Found Glory's songs when they were on high school.
Then, they asked Alif and Arif to completing the form.
So when the times goes by, Arif resign from the band and get replaced by Muny.
By a couple of month later, Alif decided to out too, so we asked Tommy from 13 Milestone to get in the back of drum set.
Then, one day, Muny decided to resign from the band because he got to move another city to finished his study.
So, Een took Muny's position in guitar and Combot come in to took the mic.
This changing makes Something About Lola turns into rock band with many influence.

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes Australian tour in January

The Gimmes are headed to Australia in January…without FAT MIKE (boo) but with MELVIN (yeah)!

Fat Mike can’t/won’t go to Australia and New Zealand with the Gimmes in January because he misses his daughter too much and NOFX has gotten themselves so busy making their documentary, that he has been, and will continue to be, on the road part of each and every month next year. Fortunately Eric Melvin has no kids; he had such a good time covering for Mike in Europe last summer and the Gimmes had such a good time having him along, that he has agreed to do it again this January. So if any of you Aussies or Kiwis are pissed, fine… don’t come, but please keep in mind:

a) Melvin does not talk as much so you get “more covers, less babble”
b) It was pretty much this or nothing

Fake Jackson will continue to cover for his brother Jake Jackson who we all know is very busy touring with his “side project”.

Nine Inch Nails Help Seal Record Industry’s Coffin

Highly popular Industrial Rock Band Nine Inch Nails have announced that as of today they are free agents, and will not be using the services of a record company in the future.

Nine Inch Nail’s Trent Reznor wrote on the NIN site that the writing is on the wall for the traditional music distribution model, saying that the music business has radically mutated from one thing to something inherently very different today and that “it gives me great pleasure to be able to finally have a direct relationship with the audience as i see fit and appropriate.”

It’s expected that Nine Inch Nails next album will follow on from Radiohead’s Rainbows and be released directly to the public.

I think Gizmodo hits it right on the head when they write:

If two of the biggest acts in the industry can see the digital writing on the wall and totally embrace it—that the old way of doing business is broken—why can’t the labels? What Radiohead and NIN are showing is that the business model “of the future” feared by entrenched interests isn’t arriving some time in the horizon. It’s touching down now.

Bring Me The Horizon's EP

Artist: Bring Me The Horizon
Album: This is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For
Label: Earache Records
Release Date: Sep 25, 2007

Re-released in the U.S. this past September, Bring Me the Horizon’s This is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For is a blood and adrenaline pumping ride incorporating elements of death and metalcore into a furious fusion of movement and sound. BMTH’s sound is unrelenting, combining the likes of Dillinger Escape Plan, Animosity and The Black Dahlia Murder into a seamless, yet chaotic listening experience.

For an EP, the four tracks on this disc pack in more punches than most full length records — technical guitars, off speed tempo changes, an unhinged vocal attack and thunderous drums on each track. Oli Sykes vocal range impresses as he shifts from cleanly shouted lyrics to unintelligible guttural growls and screams. His delivery is both emotional and full of fury as he spits out his lyrics. Guitarists Lee Malia and Curtis Ward deliver a one-two attack with precision riffs and shredding leads. Matt Kean on bass and Matt Nicholls on drums provide a chaotic and apocalyptic landscape for the rest of the band to play with.
